To make this mask, mix a spoonful of tulsi paste with 1 tablespoon of oatmeal powder and 1 tablespoon of milk. Apply this mask and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash it off with cold water.
5. Oatmeal and Honey Face Pack
Oatmeal gently exfoliates dead cells. Honey provides antibacterial and antimicrobial action while also being an exceptional skin moisturizer. These two ingredients combined leave skin bright, dewy, and hydrated.
Mix two tablespoons of oatmeal with three tablespoons of plain yogurt. Add a dash of honey and stir together until the mixture is even. Apply the mask to the face neck. Allow to dry for ten minutes then wash off with warm water.
6. Red Lentil Face Pack
The nutrients present in red lentils makes it one of the best natural exfoliators that helps in getting rid of dead skin cells, leaving the skin smooth and dirt free. It helps in fighting acne and blackheads too. Red lentils are not only good natural cleansers but they are an excellent bleaching agent and helps in lightening skin scars, pigmentation, and dark skin patches.
Take a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of homemade masoor dal powder, 2 spoons of milk, a pinch of organic turmeric powder, and few drops of coconut oil and mix everything well. Apply this paste gently on your face and let it dry for 7-10 minutes. Now, use your fingers tips and massage gently, and wash it off. If you have oily skin, you can skip adding coconut oil.
7. Sandalwood and Banana Face Pack
Bananas are superstars for the skin. They're loaded with vitamin B6, iron, manganese, vitamin C, potassium, biotin, and copper. These nutrients help to rejuvenate the complexion and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Sandalwood helps to balance the skin’s oil production—for both dry and oily skin—as it harmonizes the skin's natural oil production instead. Sandalwood also calms inflammations and gives the skin a radiant glow.
Mash ripe banana until it reaches an even, creamy consistency. Mix in sandalwood powder. Apply the mask all over the face, neck. Let it dry and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. This mask is excellent for weekly use.
8. Lotus Petal Face Pack
The fatty acids and proteins present in the lotus flower keep the skin nourished at all times. Lotus extracts contain skin balancing properties, which help balance sebum production in the body. In oily skins, this is beneficial in preventing clogged pores, acne and blackheads.
Soak some lotus leaves in the water. After soaking well, take them out from the water, grind them, add a little milk, honey to form a thick paste. Apply this paste evenly on your face. Leave the mixture for half an hour and rinse the face with lukewarm water.
9. Gram Flour and Turmeric Face Pack
Using a gram flour pack on your skin will work as a great exfoliant. It will exfoliate your skin gently without scratching or irritating your skin, remove the dead skin cells and make your skin look fresh. Turmeric is anti-bacterial and helps heal the skin.
To make a gram flour pack, add two tablespoons of gram, one tablespoon of turmeric powder and enough water to make a smooth paste. Apply it on your face and leave it to dry completely. Then wash your skin with warm water. Finish by washing face with cold water to close pores.
10. Fuller’s Earth and Rosewater Face Pack
Fuller’s Earth or multani mitti is a great natural ingredient that can be used on your skin for a flawless and fair skin. It is rich with minerals like lime, alumina and iron oxides which helps you to give healthy glowing skin naturally. The natural oils found in roses help retain moisture in the skin. This results in your skin feeling smooth and soft. The sugars in rose petals especially benefit those with sensitive skin. A rich source of vitamin C, rose petal paste makes for a beautiful, shiny glowing skin.
Add 1 tablespoon of rose water to 2 tablespoons of Multani mitti and make a smooth paste. Apply all over your face and neck. Let it sit till it completely dries and rinse with warm water.
11. Milk and Honey Face Mask
Milk is not only a good cleanser but it also works well when it comes to skin brightening.
Prepare a milk face pack by mixing one teaspoon of milk and one teaspoon of honey and apply all over your face by massaging it gently in circular motions. Preferably use full fat milk to nourish and moisturize your skin.
12. Bentonite Clay and Aloe Vera Face Pack
Mix Bentonite clay, add honey and Aloe Vera gel well. To this, add the rose water and mix well. Add water in small volumes, blending the contents well, to form a soft semi-solid paste.
Use plain water to wash your face. Dry it with a soft towel. Uniformly apply a little oil over your face. Don't massage it. Evenly spread a little quantity of the paste over your face. Carefully avoid its contact with your eyes, lips and the inner parts of your nostrils. Allow it to dry (approx. 5-15 minutes). Rinse with warm water.
13. Bentonite Clay and Turmeric Face Pack
Bentonite clay helps to deep cleanse your pores, detox your skin from chemicals and heavy metals, fight acne and blemishes, reduces the appearance of acne scarring, balances overall complexion, absorb excess oily and aid in ongoing sebum production.
Prepare the dry ingredients, 1 tsp of clay and 1/4 tsp of turmeric in a bowl. Add in ½ tsp apple cider vinegar to the dry clay. Add in a little water to dilute the ACV. Leave on your skin for approximately 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
14. Papaya, Banana and Cucumber Face Pack
Rich in antioxidants papayas are a good source of vitamin A and papain which makes it work well for the skin. Also, raw papaya paste is great to fight blemishes and pimples.
Blend 1/4th papaya, 1/4th cucumber and half a banana together to form a smooth paste. Apply this on your face and neck and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.
15. Aloe Vera and Lemon Juice Face Pack
Lemon juice effectively removes grease while adding a fresh fragrance to your skin and Aloe Vera keeps your skin moisturized.
Whip up a quick face mask by taking 2 tbsp. of aloe vera gel and adding 2 tsp of fresh lemon juice into it. Or scrape fresh gel from aloe plant. Use the mix to cover your face and wash after 20 minutes.
16. Marigold Face Pack
For the skin, Marigold has been used to treat inflammation, sensitivity, redness and even dryness. Both its essential oil and distilled floral water are considered highly effective to reduce damage caused by UV radiation and prevent signs of ageing.
Mix 1 tbsp. Marigold flower paste, 1 tsp yogurt, ½ tsp lemon juice and 1 tsp Rose water in a bowl. Mix it well to make a fine paste. After applying this face pack, you need to wait little to dry this pack on your face then after 15 minutes wash your face with water. Apply this paste 2 times a week for best results.
17. Mint and Multani Mitti Face Pack
Made of cooling ingredients, this mask not only gives glowing skin but also reduces dark spots and blemishes.
Mix a teaspoon of multani mitti powder with ½ a teaspoon honey and some curd. Add some crushed mint leaves and mix well. Apply the mask on your face and let it stay for 20 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water.

19. Black Cardamom and Oats Face Pack
Black cardamom is rich in antioxidants. It is also a very good source of Vitamin-C. Potassium is also present in a good amount in black cardamom. If you regularly use black cardamom on the skin, then your skin starts looking youthful.
Take a bowl and add 1 tablespoon powdered oats to it. Simultaneously, add 1 tablespoon rose water and 1 tablespoon black cardamom powder and prepare the mixture. Apply this mixture on the face and neck by moving the fingers in a circular motion. This will exfoliate your skin properly. After this, keep this mixture on the face for 20 minutes and then wash the face with lukewarm water. Use this homemade scrub once a week.
