Wonderful experience. I was in search of natural hair colour for many years. In my search I got many and tried too but in vain. I am by nature near perfectionist and always continue to do so irrespective of my criticism. And ultimately I got your product.
Thank you so much .

This is incredible. This face wash made my skin ultimately soft which I feel touching it often. Mine is a completely oily face, I often feel ennai kathirikai while seeing in mirror. But after couple is usages, I found my skin not to be oily for a good long duration and I don't even find a pimple in my face these days which I used to get during periods and some tiny pimples around my jaw. Thanks for the effort Dr.Hema and team. If possible, pls consider the price which will be of good help to us. Thank you.

How to Use Henna Powder for Grey Hair Colouring ?

Our hair ages just like we do and there is nothing wrong with that. One should be comfortable in their own skin and accept the things which cannot be changed. If someone is happy with their greys then kudos to them. On the contrary, if you are not comfortable with it then you can simply change it, not permanently but temporarily by using henna as an organic substitute for hair dye.

Henna has been a part of Indian cultures for centuries. It is one of the best herbs for your hair problems especially greying hair. Since it is a natural herb, of course it does not damage your hair and does not cause any other health issues either. That is the beauty of natural products, they do the job SOOOOO well with no conditions applied!

As a person would go through the cycle of life and adapt to the surroundings, so does our hair. Grey hair can be someone’s biggest nightmare, nonetheless, there’s an all-natural solution to that problem – henna.

There are many different ways to use henna with some more add-ons to enhance the color. Let’s get into it right away without wasting any time!

1. Henna and Indigo Powder for Lush Black hair

Indigo and henna powder are two of the most effective and popular ways to dye your hair for longer durations without posing a threat to your hair.

  • Mix the henna in the black tea to make a smooth paste. Add the lemon juice and mix. If you have dry hair, you can also add a teaspoon of coconut oil. The paste should not be too runny; it should resemble pudding. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave overnight.
  • Ensure your hair is clean and dry before you begin; it should not be greasy. Gather all your materials.
  • Make sure your skin is protected or else it will get tinted too.
  • Separate your hair into small sections and secure with a clip. Unpin one section and apply the henna with the brush, working from the root to the end.
  • When done, pin up this section and move on to the next, till all sections are complete. Massage any leftover henna all over your head to ensure you don’t miss a spot.
  • Cover your head with a shower cap and leave it for 4-5 hours. Wash off with plain water – do not use shampoo. Ensure all the henna has been thoroughly rinsed off. Dry hair naturally.
  • The next day, when you’re ready to apply, mix the indigo powder in enough warm (not hot) water to get a smooth, thick paste. Add a teaspoon of salt and leave it for about half an hour. If it hardens after this time, loosen it up with a little warm water.
  • Section the hair as done earlier, and apply the indigo paste to all sections. Cover the hair in a shower cap and leave for 2-3 hours.
  • Wash off with cool, plain water – not shampoo. Dry your hair naturally.
  • Wait for at least 2 days before oiling your hair and at least 3 days before shampooing it. This will help the dye stick.

You can experiment with indigo powder and henna in different ratios to get different shades of brown.

2. Henna and Amla for Soft Brown Tones

Henna is used for coloring hair as well as for cooling the scalp. Amla is an excellent addition to this as it is known to increase the pigmentation of hair and helping any other color stick to it.

Extract fresh amla juice by grinding the fruit or squeezing out grated amla. Add enough henna powder to it to get a paste. At this point, you can also add some fenugreek powder, which is a spice known for increasing hair thickness. Once you get the desired consistency, apply the pack all over the scalp and along the length of hair. Cover with a shower cap and leave it on for about two hours before washing off with cool water.

3. Henna and Coffee for Medium Brown Shade

Make a smooth and consistent paste out of two tablespoons each of Multani Mitti and henna by adding a little bit of water. Add one 2 tablespoons of yogurt and some coffee to give it a nice brown color. Apply this paste to your hair before you crash on your bed. Wrap the hair with a towel that you wouldn’t mind staining it. Use a natural shampoo for washing your hair next day.

This pack helps in curbing hair loss caused due to oily scalps. Multani Mitti helps in cleansing your scalp by removing dirt, grease, and impurities. Do not use this pack if you suffer from sinus or migraine as the strong smell might trigger symptoms.

Add four tablespoons of olive oil and mix well until it is free of lumps and you get a smooth and consistent paste. Apply to hair and leave for an hour. Then, wash it off with an organic shampoo.

Coconut milk is known for its nourishing properties. It also helps strengthen the hair follicles.
