Henna
It has antifungal and antimicrobial properties may be beneficial for the hair and scalp, particularly for premature graying and reducing dandruff.
Indigo
It treats and prevents premature greying, leading to new hair growth and curing bald patches. Regular use can not only reverse but prevent the greying of hair in the long term.
How do I use it ?
STEP 1 – DAY 1
- For medium length hair mix 5-7 tbsps. of Soundaryah’s Organic Henna Powder with curd to make a thick paste and set aside for 5-7 hours (preferably overnight).
- Apply the Henna paste to dry hair and rinse after 2 hours with plain water properly. Do not use shampoo.
STEP 2 – DAY 2
- Prepare a paste of the Indigo Powder (5-7 tbsps.) with water and apply to dry hair the day after you have applied Henna.
- Rinse hair after 2 hours properly with water and avoid shampooing till 2 days for best results.

Soundaryah's 100% Natural Hair Colour Kit is made to replace traditional black/dark-brown chemical hair dyes available in the market. Henna often leaves a reddish brown colour on greying strands of hair. Using Indigo after Henna gives greying strands a natural dark-brown to black shade as is most common amongst Indian hair types. Hence, we have included both the natural dyes in our kit to ensure that they are a complete replacement for chemical colourants.
How do I prevent the henna and indigo from staining my skin?
You can apply a heavy natural oil along the scalp and neck line and apply the paste upwards and away from your skin to prevent staining. You can also use reusable gloves during application.
